วันก่อนไปซื้อของที่ Woolworth ไปสะดุดตรากับผลิตภัณฑ์ Maggi รสผัดไทย เวลาเห็นคำว่าไทยๆแล้วอดสงสัยไม่ได้ว่า ฝรั่งเค้าจะดีไซน์ผัดไทยออกมาเป็นรสชาติยังไงกันนะ ต้องลองซื้อมาเทสดูหน่อย
Last month, I went to Woolworth supermarket and I found this product on noodle shelf zone.
It made me wonder how does Makki try to explain (formulate) the flavor of PadThai. So, I bought it !!
Price is about 4 dollars. Package look nice :)

What is inside? ...
สิ่งที่มีอยู่ในกล่องประกอบไปด้วย ถั่ว เครื่องปรุง ผักอบแห้ง และหอมเจียว
หลายคนอาจจะนึกว่าเป็น ผัดไทยแบบเติมน้ำร้อน ซึงคิดผิด ผู้ผลิตจะเขียนย้ำเลยว่าต้องเอาไปต้ม หรือเติมน้ำร้อนแล้วเข้าไมโครเวฟ
It is not a one-minute noodle. Do not cook in the box. It is just paper box and not suite to pouring boiling water. Rice noodle need to cook either soup pan or microwave! Many ingredient were included in the box: grounded peanut, dried veggie, fried shallot, and flavoring powder.
ไม่ค่อยสะดวกเท่าไหร่นักเมื่อเทียบกับผลิตภัณฑ์กลุ่มบะหมี่หรือเส้นหมี่ในไทย ต้องเข้าไมโครเวฟเป็นเวลานานพอสมควร น้ำจึงเดือดและล้นออกมาจากถ้วย แต่ไม่เป็นไรเรามาลองชิมรสชาติกันดีกว่า
Long period boiling in Microwave cause of water splashing out. Anyway, let taste it!
มีการเติมเนื้อสัตว์เล็กน้อยเพื่อคุณค่าทางโภชนาการ อันนี้เติมเอง :) ... เมื่อทดสอบรสชาติแล้ว
ค่อนข้างห่างไกลการเป็นผัดไทยมาก รสชาติเหมือนบะหมี่ทั่วไป ไม่มีรสชาติหรือกลิ่นของน้ำมะขาม
I added some prawn and egg to made my meal. You may wonder how taste of it. In my opinion, Thai people, I think that it quite far from the word "authentic Pad-Thai". If you look just simple rice noodle, it will be good enough. Although taste is not bad, it should not be called Pad-Thai. It can say like that because it lack of flavor of tamarind and smell of other herb. For me, it is not spicy. I really appreciate that Makki try to formulate Pad-Thai to be one flavor on their rice noodle products. I might try again when they already re-formulate it in the future!
